What makes ITN Mark different?
Our education consultants are a mixture of qualified teachers and experienced education recruitment specialists. This means you will always be dealing with people who have first-hand knowledge of teaching, both in the UK and abroad who can offer practical guidance, advice and support.
Since ITN Mark opened for business over 10 years ago, we have been continually focused on improving the standard of service that both candidates and clients receive. We are a Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) Quality Mark approved agency which means you can rest assured that everything we do meets the high standards expected from an accredited company.
We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for Best Public Sector Recruitment Agency in the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2010.
The Quality Mark - what it means
The Quality Mark is a joint initiative between the DCSF and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is designed to help both schools and candidates become more confident about the agencies they use. By using a Quality Mark holder schools are ensuring that the necessary child protection vetting procedures are in place and that the providers they work with are up-to-date with the latest DCSF guidelines. Candidates can be confident that they have selected an accredited and reputable service that will add value to their experience as supply staff.
Quality Mark holders are required to have standards covering the way supply staff are recruited, selected and supplied to schools. To achieve the Quality Mark applicants are required to undergo a rigorous assessment process including a comprehensive on-site audit. Re-accreditation audits are carried out every two years to ensure standards are being adhered to.
Standards which must be met when recruiting candidates are: valid CRB check, List 99 check, two written references, permission to work in the UK, GTC registration, face-to-face interviews, health and identity checks. By choosing an agency that holds the Quality Mark you can be assured that you will receive a professional and transparent service which is essential to ensure safe recruitment.
